  • $250 flat fee includes up to two hours of one-on-one “Walk & Talk” time. Client receives verbal decluttering/depersonalization feedback as well as light styling suggestions. Great for a home that just needs a basic sweep before photos or listing.

    Homes over 4,000 sq ft incur additional $100 surcharge.

  • More comprehensive than “The Opener,” this add-on service delivers more focused and curated styling and light staging. Flat hourly fees ($100/hr) provide ultimate flexibility. Services include:

    • Paint color / wall coverings evaluation and recommendations

    • Lighting / fixture evaluation and recommendations

    • Furniture / home decor evaluation, recommendations and placement

    • Agent and seller both receive written punch list of action items with design suggestions noted

    • Communication check-ins ensure everything is picture perfect for listing photos and/or open house

Do you offer full-service staging?

No. The Proper Possum does not offer full-service staging for vacant homes, nor do we maintain furnishings inventory. Storing a large warehouse of furnishings drives excessive overhead costs, and we prefer to keep our services simple and our fees accessible to a broader range of clients.

What exactly is “light staging?”

Light staging works with what already exists in the home. We shine in readying sellers’ homes for market through a curated approach that pairs the basics of decluttering/depersonalizing with styling suggestions that elevate the space.

My client may need more than a standard “Walk & Talk” – can you help?

Yes! We are happy to offer more comprehensive styling services (refer to “The Opener”) beyond a basic walk-through, available at a flat hourly rate.
